The QUEST for the BEST for URBAN EDUCATION
The start of the new century will hopefully mark the end of neglect for schools and communities in our cities. The initial link, "Who Are Today's City Kids?--Beyond the Deficit Model," suggests how we need to change the way we look at urban education. Each of the other sites points to the proactive struggle that warrants all our participation.
