TRAINING AND RESEARCH
Doctoral Thesis developed “Transformative Logo Grammar,” a meaning based use of sentence discourse and revision linked to reading, writing, and the growth of academic language.
Research articles include demonstration of a significant effect of the directions for time limits in writing tests, and the reverse correlation of instructors’ reading background and successful retention of college students who took ED 100 Developmental Reading.
August 2000 training for “Heartlight Schools” in Ashland, Oregon, appointed to Global Leadership Council, Coordinator of Staff Development, and Web Page Design Coordinator.
Visited and consulted with schools in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Oregon, California, Minnesota and New York in developing Teacher Development Network.
